Join us for a day of fun and fundraising at our Bowls For Sight Day! 

On the beautiful greens of Edenvale Bowling Club, our bowls day promises to be a great time for all who attend, with plenty of opportunities to bowl, socialise, and win prizes, all while supporting our cause.

Your ticket includes a goodie bag, snacks and lunch for all players, as well as the chance to participate in raffles and win prizes throughout the day. With all proceeds supporting Retina South Africa.

No previous experience is needed, the event is open to anyone.

PARA DEVELOPMENT TEAM

We are thrilled to announce an exciting initiative as part of our event: the Para Development Team. This team aims to promote the inclusion of visually impaired and disabled individuals in the sport of lawn bowls. We firmly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the thrill and joy of this game.

This initiative is part of our broader goal to encourage and support the involvement of individuals with visual impairments in sports, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. Interested in joining our para team, please email Linsay events@retinasa.org.za.

DEDICATED “DIRECTORS” (VI GUIDES)

During our Bowls For Sight Day, we will provide dedicated “directors” who will assist and guide visually impaired players, ensuring they can fully participate and enjoy the game.

If you have your own director, you can easily add a “Directors” ticket to your cart for R150 before finalizing your purchase on our online store.

SPECTATORS/GUESTS

We understand that some may want to be part of the event without participating in the games. For these individuals, we offer a special “Spectator Guest” option. For just R150, you can enjoy a delightful lunch with us.
