There are many simple and meaningful ways to support Retina South Africa, whether through donations, membership, campaigns, or everyday actions.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us move closer to better treatments and improved support for those living with retinal conditions.

Your contribution supports research, peer mentoring, and community programmes across South Africa.

The Save Our Sight Campaign is a national initiative focused on raising awareness, supporting individuals with vision loss, and funding research into life-changing treatments.

This is more than a fundraising campaign – it is a movement centred on:

• Education and awareness
• Community support and connection
• Breaking stigma around vision loss
• Advancing research and innovation

How to take part:

• Members are automatically included
• The general public can participate by donating R250 per year

• Provide essential services, peer mentoring, and education
• Advance the search for new treatments

Volunteers are at the heart of Retina South Africa. Whether you have time, skills, or simply a passion for making a difference, there are many ways to get involved.
