On 1 September 2026, golfers, padel players, sponsors and supporters came together at Royal Johannesburg Golf Club for an unforgettable day of sport, connection and purpose—all in support of South Africans affected by vision loss

Every swing helped support sight, independence and possibility.
Funds raised through Swing for Sight will help Retina South Africa continue providing education, support, advocacy and opportunities for people and families affected by inherited retinal conditions.
Inclusion in action
Changing Perceptions – One Swing at a Time
Swing for Sight is also an opportunity to show what inclusive sport looks like in action. Our visually impaired golfers competed with the support of their guides, while the Blind Putting Challenge gave guests a small insight into playing without relying on sight.
