The AGM of Retina South Africa will be a hybrid meeting, allowing for both physical attendance and virtual participation via Zoom. The physical meeting will take place on the 1st Floor, Sami G Office Square (formerly Helvetia House), 80 Greenvale Road, Wilbart, Germiston. This location, home to Retina South Africa, is conveniently close to the Edenvale off-ramp from both the R24 and N12 freeways.
SPEAKERS:
- Manny Moodley – Our Chairman will provide an update on the recent Retina International World Congress held in Dublin. He will discuss the latest research developments presented by global leaders in gene therapy, gene editing, optogenetics, genetic diagnosis, RNA editing, and the role of AI.
- Linsay Engelbrecht – Commonwealth Tri-Athlete and our new Head of Special Events will introduce the “Save our Sight” campaign, focusing on accessibility, accountability, and action. This campaign is crucial for every patient, caregiver, and family member.
Special service providers will demonstrate the latest in accessibility technology, including Sensory Solutions and the Onyx, designed for people with central vision loss.
