This unique charity event combines the fast-growing sport of padel with the power of giving back. Hosted in a friendly, energetic atmosphere, Padel for Sight invites players of all levels — from first-timers to seasoned competitors — to take part in matches filled with excitement and purpose.

More Than Just Padel

  • Don’t have equipment? No problem — bats and balls will be available for rent.
  • Curious about other racquet sports? Give pickleball a try.

1. Court Sponsor – R15,000 (per court, 4 available)

Tax Benefits of Sponsorship / Donations

When you sponsor Padel for Sight, you’re not just supporting a great cause—you’re also eligible for tax benefits under South African law. Our beneficiary, Retina South Africa, is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with approval to issue Section 18A tax certificates.

What this means for you:

Tax Deductibility: Donors can claim their sponsorship as a tax deduction against up to 10% of taxable income, in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act.

Carrying Forward Excess Donations: If your donation exceeds the 10% limit in one tax year, any excess can be carried forward and claimed in the following year.

How to Claim: You’ll receive a Section 18A receipt, which you include when filing your annual tax return. This makes your sponsorship both impactful and financially smart.
