In 2022, Carine began walking the Camino Francés, one of the world’s most iconic pilgrimage routes. After losing vision in her left eye, and experiencing the heartbreaking loss of both her parents, a best friend, and a family member, her journey took on a far deeper meaning.

Now, from 12–28 June 2026, Carine will complete the final 258 km from Astorga to Santiago—not only as a personal milestone, but as a powerful message of hope, resilience, and remembrance.
